What is Private Label Reseller Hosting?
Private labeling means you are providing your hosting services to your clients. It is your identity that is seen by your hosting clients, not ours, even though we are providing the reseller account to you. We accomplish this by providing you with your own nameservers, and as a further no cost option, we also brand your cPanel™ control panel system with your name/logo.

Will I get my own personalised nameservers?
Yes. This will take the form of ns1.yourdomain and ns2.yourdomain. This is applicable for all our services - Hands-Free, Budget and Clustered Failover reseller packages.

Do you provide technical support with Reseller Accounts?
For Budget and Failover - Yes, absolutely - but only to you, not your hosted domains. You should be reasonably proficient in all areas of website hosting and be committed to providing your own support to your customers.

For Hands-Free - Yes, absolutely and this can be extended to handling support directly to your hosting customers.

Do I need to pay you every time I add a new hosting account?
For Budget and Failover - No. Once you have paid for your reseller account you can keep adding new hosting accounts for as long as your space, bandwidth and hosted domain limit allows.

For Hands-Free - Yes. But the wholesale cost of adding a new hosting account to your Hands-Free service is exceptionally low. See Hosting Account Costs

How Do I Manage My Reseller Account?
All Budget and Clustered Failover reseller accounts come with two separate control panels. WHM (WebHost Manager) is the administration control panel and cPanel™ is the end user control panel.

WHM allows you to completely manage and create your hosting accounts giving them each their own cPanel™. Some functions you can perform with WHM include:
  • Create hosting plans with the space, bandwidth and feature list of your choosing
  • Upgrade, suspend, modify or terminate your hosting accounts
  • Ability to limit hosted accounts disk space. bandwidth, emails accounts
  • Choose your hosted accounts cPanel™ theme
  • Change accounts users' passwords.
  • Check server status.
cPanel™ is designed for the end user allowing them to manage their individual accounts which include:
  • Create, remove email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders.
  • View website statistics with AWstats, Webalizer or Urchin.
  • View account information such as bandwidth usage, server status.
  • Manage domains, subdomains, and parked domains.
  • Manage and create MySQL databases.
  • Add, remove FTP accounts.
  • Use advanced tools such as cron jobs, hotlink protection.
  • Access to pre-installed scripts such as Fantastico.

How long do you take to set up a Reseller account?
A reseller account will take about 48 hours to set up, test and deliver. Reseller account set ups are signed off on by senior system administrators and will not be delivered until a sign off occurs.

Do you allow overselling?
Yes, absolutely we do. We actively encourage it because with us your space and bandwidth is REAL and exists ready for you to utilise. All reseller account usage is calculated on the TRUE space and bandwidth used by all a reseller's hosted domains.

Can my Reseller account have an SSL cert?
Yes. We install your SSL cert. You first generate a SSL signing request from inside your WHM and obtain an SSL cert from this. Once your cert has been received, send it to us and we will install it.

Will you shut me down if I go over my limits?
No, of course not. But you will be expected to upgrade to the next higher plan or pay for the excessive resources used.

Does Failover deliver true 100% uptime?
On paper yes, but the truth of the matter is 100% uptime is impossible to guarantee. For example there will be times when critical updates will need to occur which may result in an outage of the entire cluster for some seconds. Further, no matter how advanced the technology is, at the end of the day these are machines that depend on many third parties all working together to bring about the delivery of the service. Therefore, rather than gloat about the uptime currently experienced with Failover (and our Budget line too) we feel it important to be up-front with potential customers by reminding them 100% uptime is something we can not possibly guarantee.

Can I resell your Reseller accounts?
Yes. cPanelReseller.com.au permits the Budget and Failover Reseller range to be resold. You will need at least one reseller account to qualify for a wholesale ID. Your wholesale ID entitles you to purchase Budget and Failover Reseller accounts at special wholesale rates.
